Peer Review Process
The JAHIR (Journal of Advanced Health Informatics Research) follows a rigorous editorial review and anonymous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of published research. The review process consists of the following steps:
-
Editorial Review
- The Editors conduct an initial review of the submitted manuscript to assess its suitability within the journal’s scope and adherence to the journal template.
- During this stage, the Editors may communicate with the author(s) regarding necessary revisions or clarifications.
- Based on this assessment, the Editors decide whether the manuscript proceeds to peer review or is declined.
-
Anonymous Peer Review
- Manuscripts that pass the editorial review are sent to two or three independent reviewers for evaluation using a double-blind peer review method, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
- The peer review process evaluates aspects such as novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
-
Reviewer Recommendations
- Reviewers provide constructive feedback and may suggest improvements, request revisions, or recommend acceptance/rejection of the manuscript.
-
Final Editorial Decision
- The Editors consider the reviewers’ recommendations and make a final decision on whether the manuscript meets the JAHIR Journal’s quality standards for publication.
- The Editor’s decision is final.
This structured editorial and peer review process ensures that all published articles meet high academic and ethical standards.
